About the process

How do I choose the right specialty?
On the specialties page you choose the field that best matches your case (oncology, cardiology, surgery, etc.). If you're unsure, write to us and we'll guide you to the right specialist.
What types of documents can I send?
Lab tests, discharge summaries, imaging (including DICOM files from CT/MRI), histopathology results and recommendations from your treating physician. We accept PDF and images.
My documents are not in English. Is that a problem?
No. Your documents are professionally translated into English before reaching the European specialist — at no extra cost and no effort on your part.
How quickly do I get a reply?
Usually within 48 hours from when your documents are complete, with no waiting lists.
What language is the letter in?
You receive the second-opinion letter in your language. Translation into English is only for the specialist's analysis.
Can I rely solely on the report for medical decisions?
The report is informational and a second opinion. We recommend discussing the conclusions with your treating physician before any treatment decision.

How much does a second opinion cost?

What is included in the price?
The specialist's analysis of the documents, translation into English and the written report with the medical opinion. No hidden costs.
How do I pay and get an invoice?
Payment is made securely in the app after you create an account. You receive a confirmation and an invoice for each consultation.

Privacy and security

Is it safe to upload my medical data?
Yes. Data is encrypted and protected to European standards (GDPR). Access is strictly restricted.
Who has access to my documents?
Only you and the specialist analyzing your case. We do not share data with third parties without your consent.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, you have the right to erase your data under GDPR. Contact us anytime to do so.

Who are the doctors?
Verified European specialists with experience in prestigious EU clinics. See the 'Our doctors' page and the section on how we select them.
Do I need to travel?
No. The whole process is 100% online, from your account.
Can I request an opinion for a family member?
Yes, with that person's consent and their medical documents.
